This 1600 m2 Rainforest Retreat is very special to the owners. Built by the family in 2003 it has been cared for ever since.
It has a sprawling garden including a rainforest walkway that has taken 10 years to cultivate. There are many secluded spaces within the property to heal, rejuvenate and soak in the sun and the surrounds.
Totally private, there are rainforest pathways and seating areas and lush views around the orchard and deck area. Helene is a keen permaculture gardener who loves to grow things from seed. She has a composting system and she makes her own soil using her term -“earth lasagne”. Being an avid cook, Helene grows her own herbs and vegetables hoping to one day be self-sufficient. She believes in giving back to the earth what the earth gives to us.
There are chooks, fire pit areas and everything else required to make a healing sanctuary for all who come here.
Helene welcomes the Fraser Coast community and visitors to view her special place and will have plants for sale.
