Open Sunday 30 August 2020
Terra Tribe Farm is a new farm that uses the basis of permaculture to regenerate what was a bare cow paddock into a self-sustainable, food-producing system.
The owners are currently cultivating nearly 2 acres of food forest which consists of over 170 fruit and nut trees.
The farm has an abundance of domestic animals including productive chickens, ducks, and a very friendly pig or two.
Garden entry will be subject to Queensland Government COVID-19 Directives and we ask all visitors to be respectful of any additional requirements that we need to put in place to ensure that visitors and owners are kept safe.
We look forward to seeing you.
There will be multiple activities during the day as outlined below. Bookings are not required.
- Guided tours at 10.00am and 2.00pm about farm practices, theory behind a food forest and what Terra Tribe aims to achieve.
- Vegetable garden making workshop at 10.30am using the no-dig method.
- Propagation workshop at 1.30pm showing how to grow plants from cuttings.
